Space

Flat:
These painting all fall under the 2D or Flat subject.  My favorite was the second one in because I like doing the same style with acrylic paint and spray paint and alot of color. All of these are very basic with few lines which don't go into a 3D style of art.

Illusion:
This is my favorite category, because the paintings are all very realistic and eye catching. They definitley take on the illusion effect and are all very 3D. The last example even looks like a photograph.

Ambiguous:
These paintings below i beleive fit the subject of ambiguous paintings. I didn't use the one I posted on the Discussion board because I re-thought it, and I guess it really does fit more under the illusion category. (It was the hand with mirrored sphere).

Gesture Dr@\/\/!ngs

I had some friends over the other day and made them stand up for me and pose. I used cylinders and ovals to make the body, arms, legs, and head. I liked this one because it was fun to make the body parts out of shapes, but I really didn't like being timed on getting them done.

I Used A Pencil, Charcoal, and A Ink based feather tip marker. I favored the use of charcoal the most only because it was fun to mess around with, the different shades that you can get out of it can be strange and cool. I'm sorry my pictures are dark  the camera I used had no flash.

Self Portrait

This is a painting I did to represent my self portrait. I decided to use spray paint and acrylic paint. I drew the character with Deco markers, which I use a lot in my art. The character doesn't technically portray myself...but it is a representation of my art and how i put myself "in" my art with my own ways...Somewhat confusing but can be see differently by who ever sees my characters and art.

I prefer graffiti art in someways because people that tend to do this don't do it for the fame, its done anywhere and everywhere. Its just out there so anyone can see it. I draw graffiti, but I do not go out and perform graffiti acts in public. I love to walk around big cites and see artist i know, and I have been to a few art shows to meet some of my favorite artist. I choose to use acrylic paint, spray paint, markers, and camera, I love to mess around in photoshop as well. Being able to alter my images with a computer to put the right spin on them can be fun, but some times just the natural look of a drawing unedited just seems right.
